WHAT'S DIFFERENT IN TELKEN LOST?

  • There are no perception rolls. So when you want to notice things during play, those things should be described by the GM. The other side of the coin is that when you want to try something unexpected, you will need to support that using the appropriate cards and a description of the effects created by your action/hand.
  • No tracking of ammunition. The appropriate cards describes what happens. The basic assumption is that you have a limitless supply of projectiles available to use when reloading.
  • There are 4 Attributes that include Affinity, Wealth, Mobility, and Mastery. These work kind of like stats in many other games, but not exactly. Your strength, dexterity, appearance, constitution, and such things are part of your character description if you want to include them, but they are not a stat.
  • There are no defined weapons or armor. Weapons and armor can be whatever you imagine, and individual types of armor or weapons do not impact damage during melee.
  • There are no currency exchanges or any need to track currency or pay for things. Note that the more Wealth you possess, the more you can appear to be wealthy.
